Chinese Miao Yihua won the modern pentathlon women's individual gold medal at the Asian Games Tuesday.

Miao scored a winning total of 5,240 points, beating fellow Chinese Wu Yanyan to second in 4,952 and South Korean Yang Soo Jin to third in 4,876.
