Gordon Brown Meets Kevin Rudd Ahead of G20

In London, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has met with his Australian counterpart Kevin Rudd, ahead of Thursday's G20 gathering. The two leaders exchanged ideas on how to best counter the global economic recession, and discussed other topics in focus at the summit.
Brown says the G20 gathering comes at a decisive moment for the world's economy. He also says leaders are facing many challenges and tests to pull the world out of recession. Meanwhile, Kevin Rudd praised measures that have already been put in place to stimulate the economy. He also urged all individual governments to act together to fight the crisis. Among the topics head-lining the G20 Summit agenda are the coordination of a fiscal stimulus plan, anti-protectionist measures and the banking system.
