Environment-friendly Buses Refueled for Olympics

A large lithium-ion charging station for buses has been set up near the Olympic Village in Beijing, Xinhua News Agency reports.

Fifty lithium battery-powered buses running between the Olympic Village and other Games' venues will be recharged at the station during the upcoming Olympics and Paralymics.

The environmentally-friendly buses are designed to meet the requirements of a Green Olympics. They may be used as tourist buses in the Olympic Park after the Games.
