An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit Yumin County of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China, at 9:14 PM Sunday (Beijing Time), according to Chinese Seismological Network.
The epicenter was located at 46 degrees north latitude and 82.7 degrees east longitude.
No report of casualty was available.
