A high-level Chinese business delegation ended its visit to Denmark on Saturday to promote exchanges and cooperation in the retail industry between the two countries.

The two-day visit was aimed at studying Danish innovative ideas, and creative managing strategies, experience in and mode of retail trade, as well as exploring bilateral cooperation areas, said head of delegation Wu Ruiling, vice secretary-general of China Chain Store and Franchise Association.

The Chinese delegation, which consists of 36 CEOs and other senior officers from leading Chinese retail enterprises, was warmly welcomed at shopping centers of famous Danish retailers Field's and ILLUM in Copenhagen.

Wu described the visit as a trip of discovery, exploration and communication, saying the delegation got to know the Danish retail industry and market better with an international vision, which would benefit Chinese retailers in the future.

There were many cooperation opportunities for Chinese and Danish retailers, she said, adding that her association was willing to help Danish entrepreneurs to expand their business in China and strengthen bilateral collaboration in this field.

Denmark was the third stop of the Chinese entrepreneurs' European tour, which has taken them to Sweden and Norway. They will also travel to Berlin for a European retail fair.
