Entrepreneur Confidence Index Promoted in Q3

According to the results of nationwide survey showed that entrepreneur confidence index (ECI) gained 120.1 in the third quarter, promoted 9.9 points over previous quarter.
The majority of entrepreneurs hold a positive attitude towards enterprise development. In the third quarter, the ECIs of industry, construction, transport, storage and postal industry, wholesale and retail trade, real estate, information transmission and computer services and software industry, accommodation and catering industry stood at 116.3, 133.8, 115.1, 123.8, 126.4, 118.5, 150.5 and 116.7 respectively, which increased to some extent, quarter-on-quarter; of which, the ECIs of social services went up above the critical point threshold, which stood at 18.9 points quarter-on-quarter; that of that of manufacturing sector marked improvement which stood at 115.1, up by 9.9 points quarter-on-quarter.
The majority of entrepreneurs’ confidence of registered enterprises picked up. The ECIs of state-owned enterprises, collective enterprise, joint-stock cooperative enterprises, limited liability company, stock limited corporation, private enterprises, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and foreign-invested enterprises stood at 119.0, 103.2, 109.3, 117.0, 125.2, 112.6 and 125.5, of which, the ECI of collective enterprises was firstly entered into the business climate zone since the fourth quarter of 2008. As compared with previous quarter, the ECIs of various registered enterprises improved, of which, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and foreign-invested enterprises picked up the biggest, which was amounting to 12.6 points.
In the third quarter, the ECIs of large, medium and small sized enterprises stood at 133.8, 120.5 and 108.0, with a rise of 15.6, 9.5 and 8.5 points respectively; that of small sized enterprises rebounded above the critical point threshold after went out the business climate zone for three consecutive quarters. The ECIs of large, medium and small sized enterprises were firstly entered into the business climate zone simultaneously.
The ECIs of eastern, central and western regions has picked up. In the third quarter, the ECIs of eastern, central and western regions stood at 117.9, 123.1 and 121.4, went up by 10.5, 9.8 and 8.2 points quarter-on-quarter.
