National Business Climate Index Kept Booming in Q3

Business Climate Survey results of NBS in whole country showed that the national business climate index (BCI) was 124.4 in the third quarter, boomed 8.5 points quarter-on-quarter.
The BCIs of various industries ballooned in the business climate zone for two consecutive quarters. In the third quarter, the BCI of industry promoted 120.5, increased 8.5 points quarter-on-quarter. Of the total, the BCI of manufacturing industry stood at 120.0, promoted 8.3 points quarter-on-quarter, that of other industries positioned in the business climate zone except textile industry. The BCIs of construction, transport storage and postal industry, wholesale and retail trade, real-estate industry, information transmission, computer services, and software industry was 134.5, 116.9, 136.0, 126.3 and 151.8, surged 5.6, 8.4, 9.5, 6.7 and 6.7 points respectively. The BCIs of social services*, accommodation and catering industry stood at 124.1 and 115.1, boomed 15.1 and 12.1 points respectively.
The BCIs of various types of enterprises of registration was positioned in the business climate zone. Since the fourth quarter of 2008, the BCIs of all registration types of enterprises were firstly positioned in the business climate zone, and with varying degrees of increase quarter-on-quarter. The BCIs of state-owned enterprises, cooperative enterprises, limited liability company, incorporated corporation, private enterprises, and foreign funded enterprises, and enterprises with funds from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan respectively was 123.0, 110.9, 119.8, 135.2, 112.4 and 129.1, surged 8.7, 8.9, 8.2, 9.8, 7.7 and 12.2 points respectively, quarter-on-quarter; that of collective enterprise stood at 105.3, entered into the business climate zone.
The BCI of large sized enterprises surged significantly. The BCIs of large sized enterprises was 148.1, up 15.1 points quarter-on-quarter; that of medium sized enterprises was 123.3, promoted 6.5 points; that of small sized enterprises was 107.1, picked up 8.5 points.
The BCIs of eastern, central and western regions was 124.3, 124.5 and 124.5, significantly increased 8.7, 8.2 and 8.2 points.
*Social services in National Business Climate Survey was including leasing and business services, environment and public facilities management industry, residents services and other services, not including information transmission, computer services and software industry, accommodation and catering industry.
