Per Capita Cash Income of Rural Households Surged in H1

According to the result of nationwide sampling survey on 68 thousand rural households in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) of China, it was indicated that per capita cash income of rural households reached 2,733 yuan in the first half year, a year-on-year increase of 8.1 percent, and a real growth of 8.1 percent after deducting price factors.
Per capita income from wages of rural households was 954 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.4 percent. Of the total, per capita income from off-farm employment obtained 849 yuan, increased 8.2 percent; thereinto, off-farm employment in native places stood at 467 yuan, rose by 8.6 percent; that of in other places reached 382 yuan, climbed 7.7 percent.
Per capita cash income by selling agricultural products reached 1,124 yuan, a year-on-year growth of 4.1 percent. Of the total, per capita income by selling planted crops reached 651 yuan, boomed 13.1 percent; that of by selling animal husbandry products was 407 yuan, dipped 8.4 percent; that of by selling forestry products was 25 yuan, a decrease of 1.4 percent; and that by selling fishery products was 41 yuan, increased 20.9 percent.
Cash income from secondary and tertiary industries by production and operation of rural households achieved 369 yuan, increased 9.8 percent year-on-year. Of the total, per capita cash income from industry was 67 yuan, an increase of 2.5 percent; that of from construction was 50 yuan, up by 20.5 percent; that of from the tertiary industry was 252 yuan, rose by 10.0 percent.
Per capita cash income from properties was 78 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.9 percent, and that of from transfers was 189 yuan, up by 31.4 percent.
