Value-Added of the Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size Expanded in H1

In the first half year, value-added of the industrial enterprises above designated size (all state-owned enterprises and non-state-owned enterprises with an annual income over 5 million yuan) was up by 7.0 percent year-on-year, or 9.3 percentage points lower over same period of previous year.
In terms of main sectors, the growth rate of textile industry mounted up 7.3 percent; that of manufacture of chemical raw material and chemical products hit 7.2 percent; that of non-metal mineral products industry was up by 11.9 percent; that of smelting and pressing of ferrous metals industry reached 1.0 percent; that of general equipment manufacturing industry rose 7.3 percent; that of transportation equipment manufacturing industry went up 8.8 percent; that of electric machinery and equipment manufacturing industry jumped 10.4 percent; that of production and supply of electric power and heat power expanded 2.4 percent; and that of telecommunication, computer and other electric facilities manufacturing industry fell 0.6 percent.
In terms of main products, the crude coal stood at 1360 million tons, went up 8.7 percent year-on-year; the crude oil reached 93492 thousand tons, dropped 1.0 percent; the electricity hit 1644.15 billion kilowatt-hours, dipped 1.7 percent; that of pig iron, crude steel and rolled steel achieved 25880, 26658 and 31648 million tons, rose by 5.6, 1.2 and 5.7 percent respectively; that of cement was 730 million tons, up by 14.9 percent; that of vehicles was 6.23 million sets, up by 16.4 percent, of which, automobiles was 3.23 million sets, jumped by 16.3 percent.
The sales ratio of industrial products was 97.21 percent, down by 0.51 percentage points year-on-year. The export delivery value of industrial enterprises reached 3,236.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 15.5 percent.
Value-added of the industrial enterprises above designated size increased 10.7 percent in June, year-on-year.
