S Korea to Buy back Gov't Bonds Worth US$800 Mln

The South Korean government said on Monday that it will repurchase state bonds worth one trillion won (US$799 million) in June in a bid to boost the nation's debt transactions.
The repurchase will be made on June 24 for bonds with the maturity in 2011, the nation's Ministry of Strategy and Finance said in a statement.
Details of the repurchase will be given later in the month by the nation's central bank, the ministry added.
