S Korea to Sell US$5.6 Bln Treasuries in June

The South Korean government said on Thursday that it will sell bonds worth 7.02 trillion won (US$5.6 billion).

The nation's finance ministry said it will sell three-year treasuries worth 2.4 trillion won (US$1.9 billion), five-year treasuries worth 2.62 trillion won (US$2.1 billion),and 10-year treasuries worth 1.3 trillion won (US$1.03 billion).

The nation also plans on issuing 20-year state bonds worth 700 billion won (US$558 million).

The nation also said that it sold a total of 7.5 trillion won (US$6.0 billion) in state bonds in May, up from its earlier plan announced in April to issue state debts worth 6.06 trillion won (US$4.8 billion) for May.
