US Treasury Lends US$2 Bln to General Motors

US Treasury Department said on Friday that it has lends another US$2 billion to the struggling General Motors.
US media reported on Tuesday that the government this week is likely to give GM US$2 billion of the up to US$5 billion that it was prepared to give to GM.
The loan pushes the total amount of GM's government aid to US$15.4 billion after the company said it would need more money to survive.
Meanwhile, the Treasury said that four banks have returned a total of US$569.2 million in Troubled Asset Relief Program funds to the government.
