Efforts Urged for Credit Re-guarantee for SMEs

Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan on Monday attends the establishment and unveiling ceremony of a re-guarantee insurance company for northeast medium and small-sized enterprises.

Zeng, also the deputy director of a leading group for revitalizing northeast China and other old industrial bases, unveiled for the company at the opening ceremony.

The re-guarantee insurance company for northeast medium and small-sized enterprises, with initial registered capital of 3 billion yuan, is jointly sponsored by the provinces of Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Dalian City.

The establishment of the company is aimed at supporting associated industries and projects in revitalizing northeast China and other old industrial bases, with emphasis on manufacturing, industrialization of livestock farming, advanced processing of agricultural products, trade and cooperation with Russia, financing of employment and re-employment.

The company is China's first re-guarantee insurance company for regional medium and small-sized enterprises.
