In April, the value-added of industrial enterprises above designated size (from industrial enterprises with annual sales revenue over 5 million yuan) was a year-on-year rise of 17.4 percent. The proportion of industrial products sold was 98.4 percent, up by 0.4 percentage point. The consignment export value of the industrial enterprises reached 571.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 19.5 percent.

Among major industrial branches, the production of textile rose 16.4 percent, that of the chemical materials and chemical products went up 20.3 percent, that of non-metallic mineral products industry climbed 23.2 percent, that of the smelting and pressing of ferrous metals went up 25.8 percent, that of general equipment manufacturing rose 19.6 percent, that of transportation equipment manufacturing was up 22.8 percent, that of electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing rose 18.7 percent, that of the communications equipment, computer and other electronic equipment manufacturing increased 13.7 percent, the production and supply of electricity and heat was up 15.1 percent.

Among major production, the outputs of raw coal, crude oil and electricity generated were 188.47 million tons, 15.41 million tons and 247.5 billion kwh respectively, a year-on-year rise of 10.5 percent, 2 percent and 15.4 percent respectively, those of iron, crude steel and steel products reached 37.85 million tons, 40.32 million tons and 46.27 million tons, a year-on-year rise of 13.7 percent, 16.5 percent and 20.9 percent respectively, that of cement was 116.44million tons, a year-on-year rise of 14.5 percent, that of automobile reached 0.84 million, up 18.6 percent, especially, and that of car was 0.41 million, up 14.4 percent.

The value-added of industrial enterprises above designated size rose 18 percent from January to April.
