Fixed Assets Investment -- January-November 2006

The fixed assets investment in the urban area from January to November was 7,931.2 billion yuan, up 26.6 percent over the same time of last year. In which, the investment of the state-owned and state share-holding enterprises was 3,774.6 billion yuan, up 17.7 percent; that in residential buildings was 1,641.6 billion yuan, up 24.0 percent.

 

Analyzed by the project affiliation, the investment in central project was 882.7 billion yuan, up by 29.6 percent; that in local project was 7,048.5 billion yuan, up by 26.2 percent.

 

Analyzed by industry, the investment in the primary industry, in the secondary industry and in the tertiary industry were 89.8, 3,407.3 and 4,434.1 billion yuan respectively, a year-on-year rise of 36.8 percent, 26.9 percent and 26.2 percent accordingly.

 

Analyzed by industry, the investment in the coal mining and dressing 117 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 28.9 percent; that in the production and supply of electricity and heat reached 620.2 billion yuan, up 13.5 percent; that in the oil and gas exploitation was 150.2 billion yuan, up 29.1 percent; that in the railway transport was 172.8 billion yuan, up 105.1 percent; that in non-metallic mineral mining and products industry was 176.6 billion yuan, up 36.3 percent; that in the mining, smelting and pressing of ferrous metals was 226.4 billion yuan, up 4.0 percent; that in the mining, smelting and pressing of non-ferrous metals was 108.3 billion yuan, up 35.0 percent.

 

Analyzed by ownership type, the investment in the domestic-funded enterprises totaled 7,029.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 27.2 percent; that in Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan and the foreign investment were 367 billion yuan and 493.7 billion yuan respectively, up 15.9 percent and 20.8 percent accordingly.

 

Analyzed by projects under construction, in the end of November the number of the projects under construction above 500 thousand yuan size in the urban added up 267,839, a year-on-year rise of 37,590; the planning investment of projects under construction totaled 20,065.1 billion yuan, up 21.3 percent, of which, the number of new-started projects was 187,029, an year-on-year increase 26,110, the planning investment of the new-started projects totaled 5,747.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 3.7 percent.

 

Analyzed by the fund sources, the fund sources of investment in the urban was 8,659.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 28.4 percent, of which, the domestic loan rose 26.6 percent, the utilized foreign capital went up 12.9 percent, the fundraising climbed 29.6 percent.
