Industrial Production -- November 2006

In November of this year, the value-added of industrial enterprises above designated size (from all the state-owned industrial enterprises, and non state-owned ones with annual sales revenue over 5 million yuan) reached 793.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 14.9%. The proportion of industrial products sold was 97.72%, up by 0.34 percentage points over the same period of last year. The consignment export value of the industrial enterprises reached 550.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 20.6%.

 

Among major industrial branches, the production of textile rose 11.9%, that of the chemical materials and chemical products went up 16.9%, that of non-metallic mineral products industry climbed 15.7%, that of the smelting and pressing of ferrous metals went up 20.2%, that of general equipment manufacturing rose 20.6%, that of transportation equipment manufacturing was up 23.2%, that of electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing rose 17.3%, that of the communications equipment, computer and other electronic equipment manufacturing increased 15.2%, the production and supply of electricity and heat was up 13.1%.

 

Among major production, the outputs of raw coal, crude oil and electricity generated were 0.19 billion ton, 15.09 million ton and 236.3 billion kilowatt-hour respectively, a year-on-year rise of 9.1%, 3.0% and 14.7% respectively; those of iron, crude steel and steel products were 35.54 million ton, 37.96 million ton and 41.75 million ton, a year-on-year rise of 18.3%, 24.1% and 23.9% respectively; that of cement was 0.115 billion ton, up 16.6%; that of automobile was 692 thousand, up 27.8%, especially, and that of car was 379 thousand, up 36.3%.

 

Added up from January to November, the value-added of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 7,789.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year rise of 16.8%.
