China Sees Record 11.84 Mln Urbanites Employed in 2006

A total of 11.84 million urban Chinese found jobs last year, exceeding the 9 million target for the whole year, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security on Thursday.

This is the first time that China saw the number of employed urbanites exceeding 10 million in a year.
