China's National Kitesurfing Championships kicked off Tuesday in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province.

The kitesurfing championships, which attracts about 40 sailors and coaches nationwide, will last for five days.

The sailors will compete in the event of 1,000-meter for speed and an entertaining performance.
