Chinese Photo Exhibition Kicks off in Nepali Capital

Marking the 61st anniversary of the People's Republic of China, a three-day photo exhibition entitled "Experience Shanghai and Embrace the World" kicked off in the Nepali capital of Kathmandu on Friday.
The exhibition was jointly inaugurated by Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Qui Guohong and Nepali State Minister for Education Govinda Chaudhary at the Nepal Art Council hall in the capital.
Speaking during the inauguration, the ambassador congratulated all Chinese living and working in Nepal on the occasion of the 61st anniversary and also to the Nepalese as this year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of China-Nepal diplomatic relationship.
There are all together 65 pictures of Shanghai Expo giving vivid descriptions of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
State Minister Chaudhary lauded the Nepal-China relationship and appreciated the exhibition which will enable general people to understand the Chinese culture.
