One person was killed and two others were injured after a tank carrying chemical products caught a fire and went off in Zhejiang Province Monday, firefighters said.

The accident took place at about 7:00 PM when a tank fully loaded with chemical products, whose nature remained unknown, was running on a section of the Yongtaiwen Expressway in Wenzhou City.

The injured have been sent to the hospital.

The public security bureau of Wenzhou was investigating the accident.

No more information is available so far.
