Morocco dispatched on Sunday 30 physicians to the Gaza Strip to contribute to treating the thousands of Palestinians injured during the three-week Israeli offensive on the enclav, local MAP news agency reported.

The medics are specialized in intensive care, an aesthesia, general surgery and orthopedics, the report said.

In early January, Morocco had pledged to receive a total of 200wounded Palestinians who will be treated in the Mohammed V Military Hospital and the University Hospital, Avicenne, both in the capital Rabat.
