China's Ministry of Health (MOH) on Monday said on its website that 20.34 million people had been inoculated against the A/H1N1 flu nationwide as of Sunday.
The ministry has been releasing vaccination information on a daily basis.
As of November 15, almost 70,000 A/H1N1 flu cases had been reported on the Chinese mainland, with 53 deaths in total, according to the ministry.
The latest report is due on Wednesday.
The ministry said last Wednesday that it would start to update A/H1N1 flu information only once a week. Previously, it offered updates three times a week.
The decision was thus made to scientifically reflect the trend of A/H1N1 flu in the country and offer better guidance for the public, said the ministry.
