China will launch a communications satellite, "Zhongxing-20A", at an appropriate time in coming days, the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province said in a statement Tuesday.

The satellite will be carried by a Long March 3A carrier rocket, said the statement.
