China's Ministry of Health on Friday offered Mongolia medicine and equipment worth US$70,000 to help the country combat the spread of A/H1N1 flu.
The offer included 1,000 doses of "Teraflu" medicine, protective clothing, masks and apparatus for diagnosing the disease, according to a visiting Chinese medical delegation.
China sent a 14-member medical team to Mongolia to share experience and develop joint efforts to fight the disease.
Lu Guoping, head of the delegation, said China was willing to cooperate with Mongolia on health and disease control.
Apart from flu, China hoped to have more exchanges on control and prevention of HIV AIDS, hepatitis and other infectious diseases, Lu said.
