Buddhists pray at the Jianfu Guanyin Temple in north China's Tianjin, Jan. 11, 2011. Chinese people have long followed the tradition of eating Laba porridge, maded with fresh paddy rice, dried fruits and nuts, to celebrate the Laba Festival which falls on Tuesday this year and literally means the eighth day of the twelfth month on Chinese lunar calendar. The Laba Festival is to commemorate the date of Sakyamuni Buddha's enlightenment. [Xinhua]
