500 Students from Quake-hit Yushu Transferred to Sichuan

Dan Yongping (R), a student of a middle school from quake-hit Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, waves her family goodbye as the train leaves in Xining, capital of northwest China's Qinghai Province, June 27, 2010. Some 500 students from Yushu took the train from Xining to Chengdu, capital city of southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Sunday. A total of 5,074 students from Yushu will be transfered to six schools in provinces such as Sichuan, Shandong, Shanxi, Liaoning and Tianjin Municipality, according to an official plan. [Xinhua]
