Tsunamis carrying waves as high as 1.5 meters have been generated by the massive earthquke in southern Chile on early Saturday, CNN reported.

Imminent danger has been issued for the entire coast of Chile and Peru and a less-urgent tsunami watch was issued for Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica and Antarctica.
