Three Palestinian teenagers have been wounded when unexploded ordnance left by Israelis went off in the northeast Gaza Strip, Palestinian medical sources said on Monday.
The sources at Kamal Adwan hospital said the boys, who were injured Sunday night, were in a stable condition and that their wounds were between light and moderate.
Rights groups have urged Israel to allow international demining squads into Gaza to remove the unexploded Israeli ordnance left during its 22-day major offensive in Gaza that ended in January.
Also on Sunday night, a Palestinian young man was wounded by Israeli fire when he approached the security fence in Beit Hanoun town that separates Gaza and Israel, Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz reported on Monday.
The report added that the man was taken to a hospital in Israel.
In recent weeks, Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, has met with other Palestinian factions to discuss the possibility of renewing a ceasefire with Israel following an Egyptian request.
