Israeli forces arrested 15 Palestinians early on Tuesday during raids in different parts of the West Bank, Palestinian and Israeli sources said.

The Palestinian security sources said the arrests took place in the holy city of Bethlehem, Nablus, Hebron, Jenin and Qalqilya.

The Israeli sources said the detainees were wanted by the state's intelligence and security agencies.

The detentions are part of a pattern of daily raids that target the Palestinian-controlled territories in the West Bank.

The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) cites the Israeli security measures and the construction of settlements in the West Bank as one of the main reasons that foiled months of peace talks.
