Yuming Liu, coordinator of the CnDG project, gives a brief introduction and update on CnDG at the Development Gateway Forum 2005 in Beijing on September 16. This was the Development Gateway Foundation's third annual forum which was devoted to 'Information Technology and Collaborative Development.' Participants exchanged their experiences on related strategies and policies at an international level, enhanced the understanding of ICT and its development applications, addressed the digital divide among different countries and promoted the dissemination of advanced information technology and applications in developing nations.
