May 12 marks the third anniversary of the 8.0-magnitude Wenchuan earthquake that jolted southwest China's Sichuan Province in 2008. The quake left over 86,600 people dead or missing and millions homeless. Now, after three years of reconstruction efforts, people's lives are taking on a new look. Here, China.com.cn has collected pictures from a Wenchuan post-earthquake photo exhibition to be held in Sichuan's capital city of Chengdu on May 9.
