Iran's Jaberi M Mirzaei broke the world record and won the Men's Javelin Throw F57/58 gold medal with a result of 40.84 meters during the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games on September 16, 2008. Egypt's Mr Elattar took the silver medal and the bronze went to Rostislav Pohlmann of Czech Republic.
