Tourists, citizens and students hike around the Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing, Jiangsu province to promote a low-carbon lifestyle on July 10, 2011.

Tourists, citizens and students hike around the Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing, Jiangsu province to promote a low-carbon lifestyle on July 10, 2011. The 2,000-meter trek was held by Nanjing University's Environmental Protection Youth Camp. The march aimed to popularize a green lifestyle ahead of the city’s 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. College students also gave green ribbons to citizens and tourists to encourage energy conservation. [www.news.cn]
