With the National People's Congress session and The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference session around the corner, media from home and abroad are preparing to cover the two sessions.

The press center for the sessions has started to issue press cards to Chinese and foreign journalists. So far more than three thousand journalists are registered to cover the meetings. Japan and America are sending their largest ever numbers to Beijing. And journalists from Russia, India, Brazil and South Africa have also expressed their hope to cover the meetings in greater depth.

One reporter from Russian News and Information Agency said:" We are concerned with a lot of issues. The most important issues will be economic reforms. China's economic development has great influence on the world economy. We expect more reform measures to be discussed. "

Meanwhile, a reporter for Itar-Tass said:" We will pay much attention to Chinese government's work report. We will focus on their plans for further economic and political reforms."
