Senior CPC Official Disqualified from CPPCC Membership

Zhou Zhenhong, a former senior official with the Communist Party of China (CPC), has been disqualified from being a member of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
The decision was made during a three-day meeting that began on Sunday to deliberate and vote on issues for the upcoming annual session that will open on March 3.
Zhou was dismissed as a senior official with the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC in January.
