Top Political Advisor Meets Journalists Covering 'Two Sessions'

China's top political advisor Jia Qinglin on Sunday met and extended regards to the journalists of leading Chinese media covering the annual sessions of the top legislature and advisory body.
Journalists had done a good job in covering the sessions, and played their role in passing on the voices of the Communist Party of China and the government, and bridging the wishes of the people, Jia said.
The media need to make active efforts in presenting the new situation and tasks of the nation's economic and social development in the coming five years, said Jia, chairman of National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
Delegates of the People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Central Television and other state media organizations were present at the meeting with Jia at the Great Hall of the People in central Beijing.
The Fourth Session of the CPPCC National Committee concluded Sunday morning.
