Xinhua, June 26, 2026 Adjust font size:

The total gross domestic product (GDP) of China's five provincial-level autonomous regions rose from 3.25 trillion yuan (477 billion U.S. dollars) in 2012 to 8.66 trillion yuan in 2025, a senior official said on Wednesday.

Duan Yijun, deputy head of the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, announced the figures at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office.

The five autonomous regions are the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Xizang Autonomous Region, the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. ■
