Xinhua, June 18, 2025 Adjust font size:

A series of main city events were launched on Saturday in Changsha, central China's Hunan Province, to celebrate this year's Cultural and Natural Heritage Day.

At the opening ceremony, a selection of exemplary cultural heritage preservation cases from 2024 was presented, alongside the announcement of outstanding cultural heritage publicity projects on new media outlets for 2025, among other activities.

Under the theme of cultural heritage revival, these events held during the Cultural and Natural Heritage Day also included a forum dedicated to sci-tech innovation in cultural heritage preservation and an online exhibition for fine arts heritage.

Following the main city events held in Changsha, over 7,000 online and offline events will be organized nationwide by cultural heritage departments and institutions under the guidance of China's National Cultural Heritage Administration. ■
