China's top liquor company reports 15.4 pct profit surge in 2024

 Kweichow Moutai Co., Ltd, China's leading liquor producer, reported profit up 15.41 percent year on year to reach 119.64 billion yuan (about 16.64 billion U.S. dollars) in 2024.

The company's revenue exceeded 174.14 billion yuan in 2024, up 15.66 percent year on year, according to the company's annual report released on Wednesday.

In 2024, the export revenue of this company exceeded 5 billion yuan for the first time. ■
