Senior legislator stresses strengthening efforts against unfair market competition

Xinhua,November 20, 2020 Adjust font size:

A senior Chinese legislator on Thursday emphasized the need to continuously strengthen efforts against unfair competitions to achieve high-quality development.

Wang Dongming, vice chairman of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, made the remarks at a meeting of the Anti-Unfair Competition Law enforcement inspection team of the NPC Standing Committee.

A report submitted by the inspection team was discussed at the meeting.

Notable achievements have been made in enforcing the Anti-Unfair Competition Law nationwide, said Wang, urging more efforts to fully implement the law to maintain sound market order and energize market players.

The NPC Standing Committee launched an inspection campaign in September, sending members of the inspection team to six provincial-level regions and entrusting eight standing committees of the people's congresses at the provincial level to examine the enforcement of the law.
