Chinese citizens' per capita disposable income in impoverished rural areas reaches US$1,634 in 2019

The per capita disposable income o f Chinese citizens living in the country’s impoverished rural areas reached 11,567 yuan (US$1,634) in 2019, which was a nominal increase of 11.5 percent over the figure for 2018. Actual growth was 8.0 percent when adjusted for inflation, or 1.8 percent higher than the overall rate for the nation’s rura lresidents.
