Senior CPC official stresses social justice

A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official has called for efforts to promote social justice and improve the people's sense of fulfillment in terms of rule of law.

Guo Shengkun, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks Sunday at a symposium with representatives from the judicial administrative organs.

Guo stressed the notable strengths of rule of law in safeguarding social justice and the people's rights, noting that the public legal service should be improved.

He also urged strengthening the competence of the judicial administrative personnel.
