As President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China is setting out to attend the 11th BRICS Summit in Brazil, the Information Office of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) proudly presents a video film entitled "Joining Hands Across the Ocean with a Common Vision: Political Parties at Work in Building a China-LAC Community with a Shared Future." Depicting the development trajectory of relations between China and Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) states and the exchanges between the CPC and political parties of LAC states since the 18th National Congress of the CPC in 2012, the video showcases the splendid vision of President Xi Jinping for future China-LAC relations emanating from his grand idea of building a China-LAC community with a shared future. Indeed, China-LAC relations have made unprecedented leaps forward thanks to the impetus from the personal attention of President Xi Jinping. Meanwhile, the exchanges and mutual learning between the CPC and political parties of LAC states have been further deepened, displaying the important role of political guidance to the development of China-LAC relations and to the building of a China-LAC community with a shared future.
