Volunteers release fish fry into the Fuxian Lake in Yuxi, southwest China's Yunnan Province, Aug. 26, 2019. In 2005, Aug. 26 was designated as the Fuxian Lake Protection Action Day to raise awareness of the lake's environmental protection issues. About 220,000 fry of the indigenous Kanglang fish were released into the lake on the 2019 Fuxian Lake Protection Action Day. (Xinhua/Jiang Wenyao)
