The Beijing Wind Orchestra will perform Thursday at the National Center for the Performing Arts to commemorate its 10th founding anniversary.

The gala show will be conducted by Li Fangfang, a first-class conductor in China and a board member of the Asian-Pacific Wind Band Conference. Li is also the artistic director and principal conductor of the orchestra.

At the 120-minute concert, the orchestra will play "Symphony No.4 and No.10" by David Maslanka and Alfred Reed's "Second Suite" and "El Camino Real" for the audience.

The tickets for the show are on sale, ranging from 80 yuan (about 11.9 U.S. dollars) to 400 yuan.

Founded in 2009, the orchestra now is a large professional wind orchestra consisting of 80 musicians that play a wide range of repertoires in various genres, such as classical, chamber music and jazz.
