2019 edition of A Reading of China's Current Affairs published

The 2019 edition of "A Reading of China's Current Affairs" has been published by the Xinhua Publishing House.

The book offers an overview of China's national conditions in six parts through a compilation of news photos by reporters from the Xinhua News Agency, excerpts from the China Yearbook, government white papers, statistical bulletins and major stories.

Accounts of the governance of China by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) since the 19th CPC National Congress are included in this book.

Covering politics, economy, culture, science and technology and people's livelihood, the book also features the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Qingdao Summit, the Chang'e-4 probe project and the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening-up.

The book, which was compiled by the editorial department of the China Yearbook, will be distributed across the country.
