Photo taken on July 19, 2018 shows a footpath in the suburbs of Jingyuan County of Guyuan City, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Guyuan, in the Liupanshan mountain area of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is one of the poorest areas in China. People there had long been troubled by perennial drought, barren land and job scarcity. In the past several years, remarkable progress is made in ecosystem and people's living conditions with the support of central and local government. (Xinhua/Wang Peng)
