Six dead in SW China car accident

GUIYANG, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed and another injured in a car accident in southwest China's Guizhou Province, local authorities said Friday.

The accident occurred around 3 a.m. Friday when a car rear-ended a container trailer on a highway in Renhuai City.

One person died at the scene and another five died after rescue efforts failed.
