British stocks down 0.15 pct Thursday

LONDON, May 31 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Thursday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down 11.37 points or 0.15 percent at 7,678.20 points.

NMC Health, the multinational health care company, lost 3.82 percent. Mediclinic International, an international private hospital group, dropped 2.68 percent. Reckitt Benckiser Group, a British health, hygiene and home products producer, dropped 2.62 percent.

Evraz, the international mining group, soared 5.78 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Johnson Matthey and CRH rose by 3.41 percent and 3.17 percent, respectively. Enditem
