BEIJING, May 31 (Xinhua) -- The General Office of the State Council has asked for better management and supervision of the making of administrative regulations, in a bid to promote law-based government administration.

A circular released by the office and made public Thursday said that administrative regulations must be issued in accordance with relevant departments' legal duties and authority.
